RetargetingRemarketing

Retargeting shows ads to people who already visited your website or engaged with your brand, reminding them to come back and finish.

What Retargeting means

A tracking pixel or tag on your site records visitors, with their consent, so you can show them ads later on Google, YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram. Google calls this remarketing.

Audiences can be precise: people who viewed a course page but did not enquire, or shoppers who added to cart and left.

Example

A visitor reads the Web Development Course page and leaves. Over the next week they see an Instagram ad inviting them to ask about the next batch.

Why it matters

Most visitors do not convert on their first visit. Retargeting usually delivers some of the lowest CPAs in an account because it speaks to people who already showed interest.
